RealMe 3 PRO Camera Tips and Tricks, Some Hidden Camera Features

realme 3 pro best camera features

Hey guys in this post i am going to share some Camera Tips and tricks of RealMe 3 PRO.

The realme 3 pro packs in a dual camera setup at back which has a Sony IMX519 sensor as primary which we have seen in flagships like OnePlus 6T. The phone has wider f/1.7 aperture which means we can expect some brilliant night time photos. To support it there is a 5mp depth sensor at back. The phones also has a 64MP ULTRA HD shot support using some software tweaks, nightscape which we seen in oppo's flagships like R17pro which is amazing , speed boost to take shots of moving objects without any shakes in the picture, chroma boost which is similar to AI mode found in Xiaomi and Huawei devices, also interestingly the phone also supports 960fps super slo-mo.
The front has a massive 25mp camera which is similar to Realme U1 so expect some amazing selfies.
Now lets see some camera features that it have

1- NightScape

Realme 3 pro has a dedicated night mode called “ nightscape” which takes some amazing low light shots, in this mode the camera detects the light and it tries to increase the shutter speed to get more light getting into the camera sensor, to produce some details and brighter shots in low lighting.
The above picture is taken using auto mode, which looks good but using night scape mode we can improve further
without nightscape

with nightscape

As seen from the picture the difference is noticeable the one taken from nightscape mode is brighter ,sharper than the one taken in auto mode.

2- Chrome Boost

Now a days many phones are coming with AI mode in their cameras but Realme has its own version called “ chroma boost” which generally increases the saturation and contrast in the pictures which produces some punchy images makes the picture looks pleasant to the eyes

The Chroma Boost option uses AI technologies, to recognize and optimize photos into a larger dynamic range, with more enriched details in highlighted parts and shadows, and more balanced exposure, you can get this option in Normal photos mode at the the Top middle of the screen
(Chroma Boost)

(Auto mode)
So clearly we can see the difference the one taken with chroma boost enabled bumps up the Saturation and looks pleasing.

3- ULTRA-HD 64MP Shots

Realme has a separate 64MP mode in its expert mode, its a combination of 4, 16MP shots that are interpolated to get resultant shot of 64MP.
But the sensor IMX519 isn't capable of taking true 64MP pictures.
you can get this option withing Expert mode, on the top middle of the screen.

Here is a sample shot taken in 64MP
4- Default Editing Tool

Realme 3 pro comes with a handy image and video editor within its Photos app, you can simply open the image or videos in the default photos app, and you will find an option EDIT at the bottom,
in the image you can crop, apply filters, add stickers, add doodle, adjust colours, add text etc, on the videos you can trip the video, add some cool effects, themes, soundtrack, add text and add watermarks etc, so i found this tool very helpful, if you a social butterfly then yeah this tool could be very handy for you.

5- Super-Slow Motion Video

This phone is able to record super slow motion videos at 960 FPS @ 720p resolution, but it's software based, it records a video at 120FPS and by using software trick it reduces the speed to 4 times to make it look like 960FPS shot, so this features is not that great or smooth, but at least you are getting this kind of features on the devices in this budget, which is a great thing.
