Mi TV 4 Launched in India


Xiaomi has always been know for great products at really affordable prices without compromising on the hardware, software or the quality of the product. This is the main reason which made them so popular in such a less amount of them. They stepped into the Indian smartphone market three years back with Redmi Note (First gen.) and today they unveiled their latest offering Redmi Note 5 which was much awaited.
As per a few leaks, and the teasers by the company itself, there were speculations that the company was going to launch another product along with the Redmi Note 5 today, that will be Mi TV 4. And these rumours were supported by some news which came out earlier this year that Xiaomi has applied for the license to sell other products in the Indian Market. And the result, the company did launched the much talked, Mi TV here in India. The Mi TV was being sold in China from very starting itself but the Indian portfolio of Xiaomi was very limited. India becomes the first market to get the Mi TV outside China.
Specifications
The Mi LED TV 4 is a Smart LED TV which is incredibly thin at 4.9mm. The screen size is 55 inches, with a resolution of 4k (3840 x 2160) which comes with a Samsung Panel. It uses brushed aluminium finish with a frameless display which looks really beautiful and modern, to be honest.
It comes with Amlogic 64-bit quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. It also gets the Dolby Audio, gts-HD codec for better sound quality.
Connectivity options on the Mi LED TV 4 include Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, and one Ethernet port which supports upto 100 mbps.
The Mi LED TV 4 comes with a new OS, named PatchWall which gets personalised recommendations, easy search option to help you find the content you’re searching of. It can connect to your STB and eliminate the use of a second remote making it much easier to use your TV and toggle through the different types of content available. It supports multiple STBs including all the major players.
Xiaomi has partnered with multiple online streaming services such as Hotstar, Voot, Hungama, Sony LIV, ALT Balaji, Tvf at the moment while others will be added in coming time. The company claims that these services add 5,00,000+ hours of content.
Price
We know Xiaomi has been very competitive in pricing its products. Likewise, The Mi LED TV is launched at a mouth watering price of ₹ 39,999. The on-site installation is free for the first three month which is worth ₹ 1,099.
