As reliance jio has announced back in the launch event of the Jio phone that they will start the delivery process of jio phone from the first week of September month, so many news sources says that JIO phone delivery will start from 4th September.
But today some media house reports are saying that the Jio phone's delivery is delayed and the delivery date of the Jio phone is 21st September, so the Jio phones delivery will start from 21st September and in the first phase, they will deliver the phone do the following cities Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Ahmedabad, after that the phones will be shipped to the retail stores nearest your pin code and then they will ask you to come to the store and authenticate your identity using your thumb impression to take a SIM and pay rest 1000 rupees security deposit to take your jio phone.
This post was just to tell you that Jio phone delivery has been delayed and the phone's delivery will start on 21st September 2017, (Navaratri) again this is not an official news JIO has not announced yet that jio phones delivery is delayed, but some media houses are claiming this.
