Redmi Note 8 and 8 Pro launched : specs and features




The most awaited phones from the last 2 months Redmi Note 8 and 8 pro are finally unveiled in India today. These are successors to the super hit note 7 series which was launched earlier this year . So , in this article let's see some key specifications of these newly launched devices .

Performance :

Note 8 pro packs in a newly launched Mediatek chipset Helio G90T , which is boasted as a gaming chipset it's an octacore chipset which is clocked at 2.05GHz × 2 cortex a76 and 6 × 2GHz cortex a55 cores. The GPU used is Mali G76 MP4 .

The standard Note 8 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset ( 2 GHz, Quad Core + 1.8 GHz, Quad core )

Display :


Note 8 pro features a massive 6.53 inch IPS LCD panel with over 91% screen to body ratio with a pixel density of 395PPI and the display is protected by Gorilla glass 5 both on front and back.
The Note 8 features a 6.39 inches screen which is an IPS LCD technology and it's also has a 395PPI pixel density.

Camera :


Both Note 8 and Note 8 pro features a quad camera setup which houses a array of 64MP camera ( pro ) and 8MP wide angle and 2 2MP cameras for depth and macro shots.
The only difference in cameras between the pro and non-pro version is the standard version uses a 48MP sensor instead of 64MP.

In front camera department , Note 8 pro have a 20Mp shooter and the standard one houses a 13MP camera.

Battery :


Note 8 has a large enough 4000mah battery , while the Note 8 pro has an even larger 4500mah battery. Both smartphones supports 18W fast charging but the standard Note doesn't include a fast charger out of the box but the pro one have it.
