After launching the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro,
Xiaomi now launches the third Redmi Note for this year the Redmi Note 7S in
India today. As rumored the Redmi Note 7S is actually the Redmi Note 7 China
variant. With this 7S Redmi covered the entire midrange piece bracket with note
series.
Specifications of
Redmi note 7S:
Redmi note 7S comes with a 6.3-inch FULL HD+ display with
dot notch or U shaped notch on the front. Both the front and back are protected
by Gorilla Glass 5. This phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, Redmi
Note 7S comes in two variants – 3GB of RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB of RAM and
64GB storage. Redmi Note 7S also has a 4,000mAh battery with Type-C and Quick
Charge 4.0 support.
The major difference comes in the camera department when
compared to the regular note .
In the camera department, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S comes with
48-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear cameras with PDAF, EIS and AI portrait
mode. On the front, Redmi Note 7S has a 13-megapixel selfie camera with AI
portrait mode support.
Redmi Note 7 vs Redmi Note 7S:
As the Note 7S is rebranded Chinese note 7 it features same
specs as the Note 7 but the only change is in the camera.
Note 7 features a 12+2 camera array at the back but the note
7S features a 48+5 camera setup at the back.
The 48MP sensor is Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor which isn't a
true 48MP sensor but with some software tricks it can shoot at 48MP.
This phone also comes with a night mode which performs
really well at night.
Price:
When it comes to pricing the regular note 7 starts at 9,999
for the 3+32 Variant and 4+64 will be at 11,999.
The Redmi Note 7S starts at 10,999 for the base Variant which has
3+32 configuration and 12,999 for 4+64 variant.
