Redmi is about to debut its flagships Redmi K20 & K20
pro in China on 28th of this month. But recently a rumor is out that the
company is also going to launch the successor to the successful entry level
smartphone Redmi 6A along side with its flagships. The specifications of this
smartphone are out. So , let's take a took.
DESIGN :
Redmi 6A will feature a 5.45 inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a
resolution of 1440×720 pixels with a pixel density of 295 PPI.
which is claimed to have a better response and improved
blue-light filtering over the 6A.
Thee back panel is made out of poly-carbonate, although the
design feels more seamless and attractive than the last year’s smartphone. The
back panel also comes with a P2i coating to repel water or oil-based liquids
and on top of that, the smartphone is splash-resistant. However, the company
still deems that a fingerprint scanner may be unnecessary at this price point.
PERFORMANCE :
This year Redmi is moving to the Qualcomm Snapdragon
processors to its budget series instead of mediatek which is used in 6A.
Redmi 7A runs a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset.
Which feature a setup of 4 cores being
clocked at 1.95 GHz & the rest are clocked at 1.45 GHz which a built on a
12nm FinFET process for better battery optimisation.
This processor is boasted to give a performance boost upto
26% compared to Helio A22 used in 6A.
Also this phone uses an Adreno 505 GPU for good graphics.
BATTERY :
Redmi A series never been a champs when it comes to battery
but after the separation from Xiaomi , Redmi is bringing its usual Massive
4000mah battery to the 7A. Which is backed up by a 10W charger which is an
upgrade over the 5W charger in 6A.
CAMERA :
This phone comes with a single camera on the both sides. The
rear consists of a 13MP sensor which is equipped by phase detection auto focus
& LED flash.
The front rocks in a 5MP sensor .
The company claims that they improved their AI and which
results in better image quality .
SOFTWARE :
This phone runs on the companies latest version of their
skin MIUI 10 based on Android pie.
This phone also comes with a ton of software tricks in the
MIUI and is one of the first phones to get MIUI11 .
PRICE :
The official pricing are not yet announced but rumors
suggest that the base version which features 2 + 16( triple slot ) will be
priced at 5,999 and the 3+32 will be at 6,999.
