Xiaomi has surprised almost everyone with their launch of Mi A1 device as they have ditched their own custom version of Android MIUI from this one instead brought stock Android on Mi A1.

Let's first discuss about some basic features we are getting on Mi A1, the device comes with 5.5 inch full HD display 1920x1080p with an unspecified Corning Gorilla Glass, The device Runs on Xiaomi’s favourite chipset Snapdragon 625 which is an Octa Core processor and the clocking speed is up to 2.0Ghz apart from this the phone has 4 GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal storage which can be further expanded upto 128GB using a micro SD card but as they are providing a hybrid SIM slot from last 2 years, they have done the same with Mi A1 too. the phone has 12 megapixel + 12 megapixel dual rear facing camera one is primary sensor and the second one is a telephoto lens which will provide you 2X optical zoom without losing any quality of image and also you will get some stunning background blur effect or bokeh effect on your photos Taken by the rear camera, along with this Xiaomi Mi A1 device has a 5 megapixel front facing camera which can take decent quality selfies,
But sadly Xiaomi Mi A1 has downgraded the battery capacity in Mi A1 as they are providing 3080mAh battery on this device, But it helps to make device thinner, also there is a USB type C port, The Xiaomi Mi A1 runs on the latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat and they have an exclusive partnership with Google under Android One program as they have promised to give Android updates very fast on this device, also you can expect Android Oreo on Mi A1 in the next few months, The Xiaomi Mi A1 Comes in 3 colour variant- black, gold and Rose Gold and the price of the phone is INR 14999 in India.

Dual camera setup : as you might aware of this, that Xiaomi has Introduced dual camera setup for its budget smartphone (We have already seen a dual camera phone Mi 6 but that was a flagship and also was not available in India), Mi A1 has camera of 12 Megapixel 26 mm Lense with f/2.2 aperture and another one is 12 Megapixel 50mm Wide angle lense with f/2.6 aperture, the basic highlight of this camera is that it is capable of taking DSLR type images with Blurred background that is why Xiaomi is saying that this is a flagship camera smartphone, as we have seen in the initial test the Mi A1 images and videos are slightly better than Moto G5S Plus which is also a dual camera phone, also i would like to Thanks to its 12 megapixel telephoto lens which is capable of Zooming 2x without losing quality of the image, also Camera is capable of recording 4K videos in 30 FPS and can shoot 720p videos at 120 frames per second.
Stock Android : this is also a very good feature they have provided in MI A1 device personally I always try to use stock Android on any android device I use, so all the time whenever I purchase a new device like redmi Note 4, redmi Note 3 or any other device I used to root and flash any custom ROM for using stock Android, but with this device I don't think so, that I have to do that again because they created a partnership with Google to launch there Android one program once more, and I am sure that this time the Android one will rock with Xiaomi’s Mi A1 device you will find all the stock features of Android, will get Updates very frequently, currently running on Android 7.1.2 nougat it's expected that it will receive Android 8.0 Oreo in the next few months, so if I say that Xiaomi Mi A1 is that cheap Google pixel then it's not wrong, I think so.
USB type C port : Mi A1 comes with USB type C port instead of USB 2.0 port, so we can expect a slightly better performance in terms of data transfer and charging, they have not mentioned that it will support fast charging but we can expect something better when compared to USB 2.0 port.

Design and build quality : the design and the build quality of Mi A1 is quite promising and looks premium on the hand, the device is 7.3 mm thick, around 76 mm wide but this time Xiaomi has made this device a bit taller when we compare it with some other phones like redmi Note 4 or Moto G5S Plus the length of this device is 155.4 mm, And the wait is 165 grams.
